Vegas, Baby!

Promotional Products Association International throws their kick off PPAI Expo every January, and we love going for many reasons! First, we get to see old friends (iPROMOTEu staff and Affiliate friends), and meet new faces (new iPROMOTEu affiliates). Second, we visit with too many suppliers to mention! My focus is visiting iPROMOTEu Preferred Vendor booths. I love seeing updated products, new products, and getting my hands on the 2017 catalogs from these awesome Preferred Vendors!

The first few days of PPAI are spent in education seminars that keep us up to date on hot topics and trends. These include sessions on safety compliance (think the Galaxy 7 debacle of 2016!), new printing techniques, and creative sessions and platforms to set us apart from product pushers.

Once the PPAI Expo show floor is open, another focus is to look for items related to specific clients. Though we work with many different industries, we’ve been heavily involved in healthcare, education and construction for several years. A set goal is to come back from the show with fresh ideas to take to our clients.

While looking for new products, we also search out green products, Made in USA products, innovative technology ideas, and supplier specials (from express and expedited shipping, to incentives for iPROMOTEu Affiliates).

So next week, along with having A LOT of F-U-N, we’ll be working hard walking miles of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center floor to make sure we’re current on the latest and greatest branding ideas. Keep an eye out for our updates from the #PPAIExpo floor by following us on social media!
